'Akira' opens with sluggish start

Bollywood performing artist Sonakshi Sinha's activity pressed symbol in "Akira" is having a relentless keep running in the cinematic world. The film has amassed Rs 10.45 crore in two days of its discharge.

Coordinated by movie producer AR Murugadoss, "Akira" discharged on Friday.

As indicated by an announcement discharged by film's marketing specialist, "Akira" figured out how to set up a decent day two with a slight bounce.

"The film has gathered Rs 5.30 crore on day two. On the principal day, the film gathered Rs 5.15 crore. The aggregate gathering of the film so far is Rs 10.45 crore," the announcement read.

Introduced by Fox Star Studios, "Akira" united Sonakshi and Murugadoss at the end of the day. He had already coordinated Sonakshi in the film "Occasion", which was a win in the cinematic world.

"Akira" sees Sonakshi's character coming to Mumbai from Jodhpur, where she gets into a tiff with the goons of the school she enlists in. The story is about her battle to leave a case, where the school goons, a degenerate policemen played by Anurag Kashyap and another played by Konkona Sen Sharma, play significant parts.
